# Activate Filestar

### 1. Download the latest version of Filestar for Windows <a href="#id-1-download-the-latest-version-of-filestar-for-windows" id="id-1-download-the-latest-version-of-filestar-for-windows"></a>

[Download Filestar](https://filestar.com/download) or [Update Filestar](/general/how-to-update-filestar.md). -> Then run the installer.

### 2. In the Help menu select *Plans* <a href="#id-2-in-the-help-menu-select-plans" id="id-2-in-the-help-menu-select-plans"></a>

-> Then click on *Restore Purchase.*
